Prayers requested

Tony's brother Todd had a dirt bike accident yesterday and had to be life-flighted to Herman. He has a one crushed vertebra that is located around the nerves that control breathing and has a fractured vertebra that is causing him not to have any feeling in his legs below the knees. As soon as the doctors can get the swelling down he will have surgery. We are hoping and praying for the best from this surgery. Doctors are saying that the surgery won't guarantee that he will be able to use his legs. Please keep him in your prayers.

Update - 12/08
Thank you everyone for your prayers. Even though Todd is paralyzed from the waist down his outlook is greatly improving! Thank you again for your thoughts and prayers.

School Carnival

Saturday was the Rustic Oak school carnival. Everyone had a great time! Hailey found one of her friends from her class. Here's some cute pics of Sara and Hailey together.

Fall baseball

Today was the last game for the Knights during this fall ball season. They had a great season and Hunter did a great job hitting from the pitching machine (Triple during today's game). Here's a few pictures for you to enjoy.

Homecoming Senior 08

Here's a pic of Alyssa with her boyfriend Mike at homecoming.

Mason

Photos of Mason??? Where are the photos of Mason? I heard from one of my friends the other day. Honestly, the boy will never let anyone take his picture. So here are a few that I was able to get.

Election Day

On the day before election day both my younger children came home all excited about getting to vote in their first mock presidential election. Hunter went into get detail describing his voter identification card and the ballot. "Choice A. was John McCain and Choice B. was Barack Obama." "And the directions said for you to circle the letter besides your choice for president." So with Mason and Tony listening closely, I asked him who he voted for? He stated Mr. John McCain very proudly which resulted in high fives from his young republican older brother, Mason. Then Mason eyeballed Hailey (they really love each but argue like 2 cats in a bag) and said, "Who did you vote for Hailey?" She answered very proudly, "Back Obammma!" Mason couldn't believe that she could even attempted to say that name. He said, "Are you crazy!" "Why in the world did you vote for him?" Hailey answered very cocky and boastful, "Because he has LOTS of Bs in his name and I LOVE the letter B!" And then Hunter followed with "And he was the letter B. choice."

Mister Cool at School

Hunter with his sunglasses for Red Ribbon Week!

Our little 50's girl!

We had a great Halloween this year! The kids (Tony & I too) really enjoyed the Behrendsen's annual party and trick or treating!

Hunter the Magician

Well this year Hunter decided he wanted to be "invisible" for Halloween. We thought that was a very creative costume but had no idea how to help him with it. After much conversation he finally decide to be "Hunter the Magician"! He really enjoyed the popping top hat, cape and the tuxedo t-shirt!
